Why do diligence on my renovation project?

Embarking on a major renovation is a significant investment of time, money and effort and like any major investment, it is reasonable and prudent to exercise care to avoid harm to your property or financial wellbeing by conducting expertly crafted research and analysis.

How much does it cost?

Depending upon the type and scope of your project, and the mix of professionals your project requires, Bolster's Due Diligence process typically costs between $3,000 and $6,000.

Is the cost refundable?

Yes. Bolster will refund you the cost of your Due Diligence upon the signing of a construction contract with a Bolster Contractor.

How long does it take?

From activation to delivery of your sketch and budget report typically takes between 7 and 10 days depending upon the type and scope of your project.

What is the final output?

The Budget Report uses a proprietary algorithm and educated guesses from your Bolster Professionals to arrive at a statistically accurate estimate of your project's cost in an effort to help you make informed decisions about its design, scope and quality.

It is exclusively intended for informational purposes and is not to be mistaken for an estimate of costs or a bid.

How reliable is the information contained in the Budget Report?

To date, Bolster Contractors Final Bids (with all design complete and all prices returned from sub contractors and suppliers) have fallen within 6% of our Budget Reports.
